Position Overview:
As a Planner for 110kV Overhead Lines, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and preparing high-voltage overhead line projects. This role involves working closely with engineers, project managers, and construction teams to ensure the feasibility, safety, and compliance of designs with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service phases 1-5 (planning and approval phase) -> until planning is ready for construction
- Coordination with authorities
- Status meetings with Deutsche Bahn
- Observe the tender
- Review of the tender from Deutsche Bahn
- Optional: Service phase 6
- Project Planning and Design: Develop detailed designs and plans for 110kV overhead line projects, considering technical, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Route Analysis: Conduct feasibility studies and route planning, identifying optimal paths for overhead lines while minimizing environmental and community impact.
- Technical Specifications: Prepare and define technical specifications for overhead lines, including materials, tower types, and electrical load requirements.
- Coordination with Stakeholders: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, local authorities, and external partners to gather input and align on project requirements.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all design and planning activities comply with relevant safety, environmental, and electrical standards.
- Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for overhead line projects, working to optimize costs without sacrificing quality or safety.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and regulatory submissions, and provide regular updates to project managers.
Qualifications:
- Completed degree in electrical engineering
- Project experience in the planning and design of overhead lines and cable lines 110 kV (route planning)
- Experience in civil engineering, line construction, cable construction
- Stakeholder management
- German C1
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) and project planning tools (e.g., MS Project) is required.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex technical requirements and develop feasible and cost-effective solutions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical details to a variety of stakeholders.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
