Position Overview:
As a Project Manager (m/f/d) for Plant Engineering / High-Voltage Systems, you will oversee complex projects in the field of high-voltage and plant engineering. This position requires technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Management: Oversee technical, scheduling, and financial aspects of power supply systems, focusing on medium voltage, transformers, low voltage, cable systems, busbars, backup power systems, and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS).
- Special Focus: Manage low-voltage switchgear up to 6000A, including main distribution boards and motor control centers (MCC).
- On-site Management: Independently manage construction sites, resolve technical issues, obtain permits, coordinate subcontractors, and communicate with clients.
- Project Control: Conduct project monitoring, prepare change orders, evaluate offers, and estimate installation times.
- Commercial Expertise: Familiarity with VOB, BGB, preparation of measurements, billing, change order creation, and claim management.
Qualifications:
- Completed technical college or university degree in electrical engineering or equivalent qualifications (e.g., master craftsman or technician in high-voltage technology).
- Knowledge of relevant standards and VDE guidelines: VDE0100, 0105, 0660.T600, 0670, DGUV3.
- Several years of industry experience (at least 2-5 years).
- Class B driver’s license and willingness to travel nationwide.
- Independent work style, entrepreneurial thinking, strong communication skills, and a structured approach.
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP; project coordination experience is an advantage.
- Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of high-voltage systems, protection and control technology, and relevant standards and regulations (e.g., DIN VDE).
- Project Management Skills: Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and methodologies.
- Personality: Organizational talent, strong communication and teamwork skills, and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Languages: Fluent in German and proficient in English.
- Willingness to Travel: Occasional travel to project locations as required.
