Position Overview:
As the Subproject Manager for Secondary Technology, you will lead and coordinate the technical and organizational aspects of secondary technology in large-scale projects. Your role will involve managing project requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful implementation of systems according to specified timelines and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordination of secondary technical plant planning
- Sub-project management
- Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and legal regulations
- Ensuring compliance with customer specifications and technical standards
- Coordination of a small project team
- Technical processing of national and international offers and turnkey projects
- Deadline and budget responsibility for your own part of the project
- Participation in negotiations with customers, specialist planners and suppliers
- Coordination with project management on requests for offers from subcontractors
- Coordination with project management on risk and claim management and non-conformance reporting (NCR)
Qualifications:
- Electrical engineering background
- Experience in planning/project management of large-scale plants (e.g. FACTS, HVDC plants, power plants, etc.)
- Experience with NX/Inventor or SolidWorks would be an advantage
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of secondary technology components, including control systems, protection technology, and communication protocols.
- Project Management Skills: Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2) and software (e.g., MS Project, SAP).
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues, identify solutions, and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Languages: Proficiency in German and English is preferred.
- Willingness to Travel: Flexibility to travel to project sites as needed.
